Andrew's Big Hike

Me and Sandi were asked if we wanted to join in with the Big Hike, we jumped at the chance!

We went on the trial weekend in May which was fab, even though I found the hiking a bit diffiucult I had a great time. I got involved in putting up and putting down the tents.

At the end of the weekend me and Sandi had a long chat about the Big Hike in June which was going to be a week long! We both decided it would be better if we were part of the support group - we would help set up camp, do the cooking and generally help look after camp. I did do some smaller walks which was much better.

We had a great time and made good friends with everyone. This was a great challenge and I can't wait for next year!
